Burnt Broccoli with Garlic Aoili

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 head of broccoli
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 clove of minced garlic
  • 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice

DIRECTIONS

Heat oven to 375. Chop the whole head of broccoli into small florets. Toss the small florets with the tablespoon of olive oil, and whole 3 garlic cloves and add salt & pepper. Spread on a baking sheet and bake in 375 for 30-40 minutes, until broccoli florets are lightly blackened. Yes, blackened! I know it sounds weird but the taste is extra crispy and out of this world. You can serve as a side dish on it’s own or pair with the Garlic Aoili as i sometimes do! To make the Garlic Aoili, combine the mayonnaise, lemon juice, and remaining minced clove of garlic. Enjoy!
